Lam Soon (Thailand) has been certified HACCP since 2000 making it the first company to be so certified in Thailand vegetable oil industry. HACCP is a systematic preventative approach to food safety that identity potential food safety hazards including physical, chemical and biological hazards, so that key actions, known as Critical Control Points (CCP's) can be taken to reduce or eliminate the risk of the hazards being realized. The system is used at all stages of our food production and preparation processes.
We have been certified ISO 9001 since 2002 which is international standard for quality management system, established by the Interational Organization for Standardization.
This certifies that our products have been produced with the most efficient and effective manner to fulfill the customer requirements and have continual processes improvement.
We have been certified ISO 14001 since 2004 which is environmental management system.
The certification further ensures that our operations have minimal harmful effects on the environment, comply with applicable laws, regulations and other environmentally oriented requirements and achieve continual improvement of environmental performance.
GMP certificate is ensured that our food production processes lay a firm foundation for food safety and follow the food chain from primary production through to final consumption, highlighting the key hygiene controls required at each stage. The General Principles of Food Hygiene of the Codex Alimentarius is implemented to protect the health of consumers.
The company has been certified with ISO 45001, which is a standard for occupational health and safety management systems. It emphasizes the strategy of implementing a business-oriented system. The scheme incorporates existing standards including ISO 22000, sector specific PRs and HACCP. FSSC 22000 is owned by an independent non-profit organization and is fully approved by the Global Food Standard Initiative (GFSI).

The company received the Carbon Footprint Product certification in 2018, which is calculated from the amount of greenhouse gases emitted from each product unit throughout the product's life cycle, from the acquisition of raw materials, production/assembly processes, product distribution, use, and waste management after the end of life, including related transportation, as part of the management of reducing greenhouse gas emissions that affect the environment in the country.
The company received Carbon Footprint Organization certification in 2024, which is calculated based on the amount of greenhouse gases emitted from the organization's various activities, such as fuel combustion, electricity use, waste management, and transportation. It is measured in the form of tons of carbon dioxide equivalent as part of the management of reducing greenhouse gas emissions that affect the environment in the country.
