Mr. Suwat Praekulthan, Vice President of Operations at Lam Soon (Thailand) Public Company Limited, Manufacturer and distributor of refined palm oil under brand names "YOK", healthy cooking oil under "Naturel" brand and margarine & shortening products under "Zest" brand and other related products was presented the "FDA Quality Award" 2016 by the Office of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its achievement as a model for a morally and ethically relevant workplace in food manufacturing category based on the highest quality and standards, safety and practicing corporate social responsibility (CSR) . The award giving ceremony recently held at Miracle Grand Convention Hotel on Thursday 18 February, 2016, presided over by Clinical Professor Emeritus Dr.Piyasakol Sakolsatayadorn, Minister of Public Health.

"FDA Quality Award 2016" is given by the Office of the Food and Drug Administration. This year, the awards are given to 51 companies from many industries divided into food, drug, cosmetic, medical device and household and public health hazardous products with morality and ethics in producing health products that are safe and meet the standard. The awards are given based on clear and credible standardized criteria that focus on quality systems and responsibility to society.
